The FASTEST Project attended the 7th International Conference on Industrial Engineering and Industrial Management (IEIM 2026), held in Milan, Italy, from 7 to 9 January 2026.
This three-day international forum aims to disseminate the most recent and relevant research, theories, and practices in industrial engineering and management across all branches of the field. The conference brought together industry professionals and early-career researchers, fostering exchanges that transcend traditional disciplinary boundaries and enabling the discussion of complex, multidisciplinary challenges.
During the event, Marco Rodrigues from INEGI shared state-of-the-art developments and technologies and presented the paper ‘Methodology for Digital Twin-Based Product Testing in Industrial Applications: Batteries as a Use Case.’
