Bruno Rodrigues, FASTEST coordinator participated in the Battery Innovation Days (BID) 2025 in Graz, Austria, as part of the twinBATT Cluster. The conference convened industry, research, policy and regulatory stakeholders to discuss the latest advances in battery research, innovation, regulation and industrial deployment

FASTEST featured at the twinBATT joint booth and contributed to cluster outreach and stakeholder engagement. On 1 December the project participated in the Battery Heroes feat. COLLABAT workshop, taking part in interactive discussions and knowledge-sharing focused on collaborative approaches to battery sustainability and industrial uptake.

The BID conference, held on 2–3 December 2025, marked its fifth edition with 600 participants onsite and 1,000 online, 35 exhibitors, 22 sponsors and more than 65 speakers. The event convened industry, researchers, policymakers and regulators to discuss advances in battery research, innovation, regulation and industrial deployment, and provided a platform for twinBATT and FASTEST to showcase their work and foster collaboration across the battery value chain. twinBATT Cluster also joined the discussion on ‘The future of AI in battery innovation and production’, highlighting how digital tools and virtual testing are able to shape the next generation of AI-powered battery development workflows.

The next edition of the Battery Innovation Days will take place in Stockholm, Sweden on 11 and 12 November 2026.
