On Thursday, 5 February, the FASTEST consortium met online for its latest General Assembly, gathering partners from across Europe to review recent work and plan the final stage of the project.
During the meeting, partners shared updates on the development of new methods intended to speed up how batteries are tested and evaluated. The team reported progress in simulation and modelling tools.
Researchers are also working on data-based approaches to better estimate battery condition and performance, while validation activities continue key components and testing facilities. These activities will support the verification of the project’s digital tools and help demonstrate shorter testing times.
The consortium also discussed dissemination and communication activities, including scientific publications, collaboration with related projects, and preparation of the project’s main results.
With only a few months remaining, partners are now focusing on completing validation work and preparing the final report.
